Healthy Dips For Your Next Cheese Board feature image

Up your cheese board game with these healthy dips. The trick with every board is to have both sweet and savoury options. To serve

  • Green olives

  • Cheese of choice

  • Mini capsicums

  • Blueberries

  • Cashew nuts

  • Pecan nuts

  • Cucumber slices

  • Beetroot dip (recipe below)

  • Avocado hummus (recipe below

  • Peanut butter dip (recipe below)

Beetroot dip

  • 3 beetroots (350g)

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 3 tbsp tahini

  • ½ tsp sea salt


Method

Combine everything in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.


Avocado hummus

  • 1 can chick peas

  • 1 avocado

  • 3 tbsp tahini

  • Juice of two fresh limes

  • 1 clove garlic, peeled

  • Salt

  • ½ bunch coriander leaves


Method

Combine everything in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.


Peanut butter yoghurt dip:

  • 1 cup yoghurt

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Method

Mix everything together in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
