This Vegan Chocolate Mousse recipe will cure your chocolate craving. It's rich from the cacao but balanced from the maple syrup and smooth from the avocado. Don't worry you don't taste the avocado, you won't even know it's in it. The avocado provides the perfect mousse consistency and is full of Potassium (helps to reduce
2 ripe avocados, skin and stone removed
¼ cup cacao powder
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup Raw C Chocolate Coconut Milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
100g melted dark choc
In a food processor or high-speed blender add the avocado flesh, cacao powder, maple syrup, chocolate coconut milk, vanilla and salt. Blend until smooth.
Add the melted chocolate and blend again until creamy and smooth.
Spoon into glasses or dishes and chill for 3-4 hours to firm up.
Serve with coconut cream, strawberries and grated chocolate.
