Vegan Mocha Brownies

Did you say MOCHA BROWNIES?! High protein too?! Yep, thanks to the hemp protein powder that's been snuck in... so these are a perfectly acceptable post-workout snack ;) A super satisfying dessert too, without the sugar spike and crash. Find the Hemple Mocha Protein Powder on our online shop.


  • 2 cup coconut oil.⠀

  • 1 tbs hemp seed oil ⠀

  • 3+1/4 cup brown sugar ⠀

  • 8 flaxseed eggs⠀

  • 2 tbs vanilla extract⠀

  • 3/4 tbs salt⠀

  • 2 cup rice flour ⠀

  • 1+1/2 cup cocoa powder +1C mocha hemp protein⠀⠀

  • 1/4 cup dehydrated coffee⠀

  • 1/4 cup walnuts ⠀


  1. Mix all wet ingredients: melted coconut oil, Low GI brown sugar, vanilla essence and flaxseed eggs.⠀

  2. When all wet ingredients are well combined, sift in the rice flour, cacao powder, mocha protein, coffee and salt and gently fold them into the wet ingredients. Add walnuts as well.⠀

  3. Do not over beat them as doing so will affect the texture of the brownie.⠀

  4. Bake for 25-30min until the brownie is set to the touch. Or if when you insert a toothpick, this should come out dirty for a fudge-texture brownie.⠀

  5. Remove it out of the oven and after 10 mins remove it out of the pan and let it cool for 15 mins at room temperature.⠀

  6. Cut them into small slices and add some peanut butter of chocolate drizzle on top
