Back in 2007, I switched to a wholefood diet, and ended up 11 kilos lighter with a newfound energy and vitality. I then decided to make wellness my life’s purpose, and worked in health food stores while I studied nutrition for four years. Fast-forward to now, and I’m a certified nutritionist and health writer who believes in the positive effects of real, whole foods on the body and mind. I’m into balance, not deprivation, and source foods that lift you up the healthy way and boost digestion while they’re at it.

My first time trying feta cheese in Cape Town, South Africa at a family lunch in a cottage-style restaurant. All I wanted to eat was Greek salad after trying it!
